Double Acting Aluminum Cylinders
- Steeger’s innovative use of composite bearings in our cylinders enables us to:

o Raise the life of a cylinder
o heighten resistance to side-loads
- To prevent load- induced damage we have included a steel base plate and saddle
- Stop ring prevents plunger over-travel and is capable of withstanding the full cylinder capacity
- Built in safety valve prevents accidental over-pressurization
- Double-acting for rapid retraction, regardless of hose lengths and system losses

Single Acting Lock Nut Aluminum Cylinders
- Steeger understands that mechanical load holding is needed for extended periods of time, that’s why we have included our specially designed lock nuts
- Cylinder lifetime and quality is paramount, our hard coat finish and hardened steel stop ring permits this, as well as resisting side loads
- To reduce any chance of load induced harm, included in the design is a steel based plate and saddle
- To facilitate rapid cylinder retraction we have included a high strength return spring
- Included on all models is:

o Ergonomic handles
Hollow Plunger Aluminum Cylinders
- To assist in both pull and push forces, Steeger has implemented our industry leading hollow plunger design
- To increase cylinder lifespan, included are:
o Composite bearings ( also boosts side load resistance)
o Hard coat finish

- Our thin design cylinders are used primarily in hard to reach areas where large amounts of force are needed
