Stage Lift Systems

Three types of staged-movement-systems:

  1. Move and pin-systems for vertical or horizontal movement
  2. Lift and crib-systems for lifting/lowering in vertical planes
  3. Threaded bar-systems for lifting/lowering in vertical planes

Stage-lift sequence:

  1. Stage-lift cylinder with retracted plunger is placed on solid support under load.
  2. Plunger extends, lifting load, giving clearance to insert two outer cribbing blocks under the spreading plate.
  3. Plunger retracts, giving clearance to insert central cribbing blocks which will support plunger plate for next extension.
  4. Plunger extends, lifting the load, giving clearance to insert two new cribbing blocks, placed crosswise under spreading plate.
